Il Sereno Hotel Como is a jewel on Lake Como

l Sereno Hotel Como brings a new era of luxury to the shores of Lake Como! Opened in 2016, the 5-star luxury hotel in Torno has been delighting guests with its incomparable flair and sophisticated service ever since. Il Sereno Hotel Como was created by the famous designer Patricia Urquiola, who, in a contemporary, modern style, virtually merges the building with its surroundings, paying attention to every detail. Natural materials, an extravagant design, floorto-ceiling windows with plenty of natural light and a dreamlike panoramic view give the property an expression of freshness, natural elegance and a majestic serenity. In the spacious suites, overlooking the blue waters, guests find peace and serenity once again.

THE DESIGN – AUTHENTIC AND TIMELESS
Wood, stone, wool, copper and bronze create a cosy living feeling. Patricia Urquiola incorporates the elements of the surroundings to create a relaxed ambience. This includes the culture, scenic beauty and history of Lake Como. The vertical gardens, designed by star botanist Patrick Blanc, are also outstanding. The garden artist was inspired by the colours and movements of the lake.

IL SERENO HOTEL COMO IS ONE OF THE MOST OUTSTANDING HOTELS

It is this simple but high-quality design, this almost floating lightness and modern elegance that make Il Sereno Hotel Como so fascinating. Guests enjoy the spa under centuries-old arches in the former Darsena and can use the hotel’s three wooden boats, designed by Ernesto Riva according to traditional models. The New York Post recommended the hotel in 2016 as one of the best 19 hotels in the world to visit!

STAR CUISINE IL SERENO AL LAGO
Guests enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner in the hotel’s gourmet restaurant. In the evening, they can choose between multi-course tasting menus and at lunch they can dine a la carte with typical Italian specialities. Passionate Executive Chef Raffaele Lenzi brings world-class gastronomy to the region and delights with his award-winning menus. Venetian terrazzo and travertine stone in the restaurant complement the high-quality, sensual enjoyment!
